Lean On

The harmonic core of 'Lean On' is a classic 'sentimental' loop (IV-V-iii-vi) that is ubiquitous in modern electronic pop. Its distinctiveness lies in the complete absence of the I chord (G Major), which prevents a traditional perfect cadence. This creates a 'state of becoming' where the music feels perpetually in motion.
