Produced by hitmakers Édgar Barrera and Casta, the song catapulted Colombian singer Manuel Turizo — born in the year 2000 — to pan-Latin superstardom. Its title proudly names the genre it inhabits, making it simultaneously a stylistic statement and a crossover pop moment.
