'Rockstar' appeared on Nickelback's fifth album 'All the Right Reasons' in October 2005, written by all four band members and produced by Joey Moi alongside the band. The song catalogues the clichés of fame — mansions, limos, sprawling crowds — with a knowing comic edge, then was pushed as a single in 2007 and climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
